Leadership Coaching
As coaches, we create partnerships with senior leaders as they face new and complex challenges. We coach them through a process for meeting their goals as they work to carry out the strategic intent of the organization.
Two Coaching Modes
Individual Coaching
Individual coaching is done on a confidential basis. The focus in on increased self-awareness, improved effectiveness and awareness of impact on other individuals in the context of organizational need.
We balance a reflective and directive coaching process, helping clients think through decisions, challenge assumptions, and improve relationships. We foster increased self-awareness through formal assessments and informal discussions. We work with leaders to set development goals and action plans that address areas of interest and need. And, we remain available as a sounding board to listen attentively and ask the questions that need to be asked.
Leadership Team Coaching
Leadership coaching can be done in the context of Leadership Team Development. As individuals address their personal development goals, they can work simultaneously on strengthening their peer relationships and the effectiveness of the leadership team. Here, we focus on the communication and working dynamics within the top team itself, and how well members work together to provide leadership to the overall organization.
Leadership coaching relationships can be short-term and situation specific, or may develop into a long-term partnership and confidential support system. Our extensive and varied consulting practice over the past 31 years grounds our leadership coaching skills in real-life experience that continues to serve our clients’ needs.
