Steven L. Davis, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Steve has nearly 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including senior executive positions with several fully integrated oil companies. In these roles, he led global organizations responsible for the finance functions, capital project management, IT services and applications, procurement, audit and shared service centers. Additionally, Steve brings significant involvement in new business development and M&A activities across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Steve has extensive, first-hand experience with major capital projects and start-up operations., merger integration teams, joint venture operations, and major change / reorganization initiatives. He has served on affiliate company boards in Nigeria, Kazahkstan, Japan, Singapore and the U.S. Additionally, Steve has wide, multi-cultural knowledge through his involvement in the start-up of large employment centers located in Latin America, eastern Europe, China and Southeast Asia. He has led and facilitated numerous projects employing Tercon’s methodology and tools for managing large-scale change, as well as developing leadership and project management skills.
A graduate of Auburn University in 1974, Steve holds a B.S. in Economics and attended several universities for post-graduate studies. He has also completed executive education courses at UC-Berkeley and Columbia University, and is a guest lecturer at the George Mason University School of Management. Steve is currently Chairman of the Fairfax County, VA Economic Development Authority and the George Mason University Business Advisory Board.
