Lorin grew up in the Idaho Rockies. He attended Columbia University in New York City. He holds a Masters in Organization Behavior and a PhD in Psychology from Brigham Young University, and has done MBA post-doctoral studies at Pepperdine University. He has worked fulltime for corporations including Procter and Gamble and ARCO Oil and Gas, and has been a consultant to a wide array of organizations over the last 25 years.
