ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN/CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Job Description
Tercon Consulting seeks a Washington area consultant(s) to provide expert organizational effectiveness consulting to its rapidly growing government client base. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with clients to diagnose business problems and to identify and implement practical, sustainable solutions
- Coaching executives and leaders to successfully implement change, drive toward a high performance culture, and deliver desired business results
- Working collaboratively with other consulting team members to provide the highest level of service, professionalism and commitment that exceeds client requirements
- Applying Tercon’s proprietary IP and tools to assist clients in removing barriers to effective individual, team and organizational performance
Desired Skills and Experience
- Change Management certification and/or certifications in: MBTI, FIRO-B, DISC, ESCI, Human Element Approach and team building.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience as an organizational effectiveness consultant
- Advanced degree in Organization Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Learning & Development, Communication, Leadership Development, MBA or allied field
- Demonstrated success in providing consulting to a variety of organizations and agencies in the government sector
- Demonstrated skill in client relationship management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong change management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain trust-based relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to coach executives and leaders to successfully achieve their performance improvement goals
- Experience in the application of business process improvement methods and tools
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in improving cross-team and cross-organization communication and cooperation
- Superior group process facilitation skills

- Applying Tercon’s proprietary IP and tools to assist clients in removing barriers to effective individual, team, and organizational performance

- ICF certification
